Join us for a workshop on the intricacies of non-monogamies for educators, mental health professionals, and graduate students. This interactive workshop will include shared book discussions, group activities, film clip reviews, and more all in the name of exploring and deepening understanding regarding non-monogamy.

Students with IDD are often excluded from school-based sexual health education (SHE) despite the need. We identified four themes when exploring the teacher-identified barriers to implementing sexual health education for students with IDD: (1) misbeliefs and stigma; (2) parent/caregiver and administration support; (3) teacher preparedness; and (4) lack of evidence-based curricula/materials.
