Maternal mortality, an important topic in sexuality, needs attention. NJ Health News, 2026 reports the risk of maternal mortality is 7.6 times greater among Black/African American women than white women. Focus groups with African American/Black women sharing antenatal experiences illuminate the impact of racism during those periods.
