Certificate Program in Sexuality Education and Disability: Understanding Neurodiversity, Intellectual Disabilities, and Sexual Health
This course explores sexuality, identities, sexual arousal, response, pleasure, and relationships for individuals with neurodiversities and intellectual disabilities. It examines attitudes and beliefs about sexuality and people with disabilities and focuses on the benefits of sexuality education and the increased need for accessible knowledge in these populations.
The course covers working with parents and caregivers and provides participants with the skills to develop their own materials for working with these populations. Participants will receive 12 hours of (virtual) live and interactive lectures and discussions as well as 12 hours of pre-recorded content with the instructor and other participants.

Instructor: Stephanie Mitelman, MA, CSE, CFLE
Stephanie Mitelman, MA, CSE, CFLE, has been Part Time Faculty at Concordia University since 2005, in the Department of Applied Human Sciences. She teaches courses on human sexuality, diversity in human relations, and family life education.
Stephanie is a Member of the Order of Sexologists of Quebec, an AASECT Certified Sexuality Educator, and a Certified Family Life Educator with the National Council of Family Relations
Stephanie trains schools, boards, organizations, and therapists across North America on working with individuals with diverse needs, and has written and published several resources.
Stephanie also sees clients in her private practice, working with individuals with autism, on issues of gender, sexuality, safety and healthy relationships.
Certificate Program in Sexual Orientation & Sexuality Education: the pedagogy of pride, parades, and protests
The Certificate Program in Sexual Orientation and Sexuality Education: The Pedagogy of Pride, Parades, and Protests offers a comprehensive, nuanced exploration of sexual and romantic orientation. From deep dives into specific identities like bisexuality and asexuality to the intersection of sexuality with experiences across the lifespan, with modern and historical legal and cultural frameworks, and with pedagogical implications, this program is prepared to offer something to new and experienced educators alike.

Instructor: Karen Rayne, PhD, CSE
Dr. Karen Rayne, CSE, has worked in education for the past two decades with a specialty in comprehensive sexuality education across the lifespan. She is a Co-Founder and Director of Education for UN|HUSHED, where she writes and edits books and lifespan comprehensive sexuality curricula, trains sexuality educators, and builds collaborative coalitions.
Certificate Program in Social Justice & Sexuality Education
The Certificate Program in Social Justice and Sexuality Education provides an in-depth exploration of the intersection between social justice and human sexuality. This interdisciplinary program offers a nuanced understanding of the diverse perspectives, theories, and practices surrounding sexuality within the framework of social justice.

Instructor: Tanya M. Bass, PhD, MS, MEd, CHES®, CSE
Tanya Bass, PhD, MS, MEd, CHES®, CSE (she/her/hers) is the founder of the North Carolina Sexual Health Conference (NCSEXCON). She is An award-winning sexuality educator and subject matter expert in sexuality education, reproductive health, and health equity. Tanya is an alumna of North Carolina Central University’s (NCCU) Department of Public Health Education, where she has served as an adjunct instructor for several years. She is the lead instructor for Sexuality Education. She completed her PhD in Education at Widener University in the Center for Human Sexuality Studies. She is a member of the Women of Color Sexual Health Network (WoCSHN), the Association of Black Sexologists and Clinicians (ABSC), and the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). She is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and an AASECT Certified Sexuality Educator (CSE). She is a current member of the editorial board for the American Journal of Sexuality Education.

Certificate Program in Sexuality Education and Consent: Core Concepts, Frameworks, and Teaching Tools for Instructors
The Certificate Program in Sexuality Education and Consent explores the concepts of consent and body autonomy and their foundational importance to sexuality education. Learners will explore the many facets of and approaches to these concepts, as well as how to teach about consent and build a consent-based education practice.
We will cover age- and developmentally-appropriate ways to teach about consent to young children, teens, college students, and other adults. We will also discuss training parents/caregivers and teachers on practicing consent with the young people they support. Participants will receive 12 hours of (virtual) live and interactive lectures and discussions as well as 12 hours of pre-recorded content with the instructor and other experts.

Instructor: Isy Abraham-Raveson (they)
Isy Abraham-Raveson (they) is a sexuality educator based in Philadelphia. They have a Master’s degree in sexuality education from Widener University and a Bachelor’s degree in Gender and Sexuality Studies from Williams College. Isy co-founded the organization YES! (@yestoconsent), which provides anti-oppressive, consent-based, pleasure-focused sex ed to people of all ages, including children, teachers, parents, and healthcare providers.
Certificate Program in Parents, Families, and Sexuality Education
This course explores inclusive, evidence-informed strategies for engaging parents, caregivers, and families in comprehensive family sexuality education. Participants will explore research-based frameworks and practical tools for building sex-positive environments at home and in educational spaces to support young people’s sexual health. It covers topics including preventing child sexual abuse, navigating consent and digital culture, and effective communication techniques to support conversations about sexuality across diverse family structures. This course empowers adults to be confident, informed sexuality educators in their families and communities. Participants will receive 12 hours of (virtual) live and interactive lectures and discussions, as well as 12 hours of pre-recorded content with the instructor and other participants.

Breanna Lewis is a Sexual Health Educator and Wellness Coach who empowers individuals to prioritize pleasure and sexual wellness. She attended Liberty University where she earned a Master of Public Health degree. She is the owner of Pretty Sexucated, designed to promote pleasure-centered experiences and works as a Sexual Health Program Coordinator.
