It’s critical for sex educators to have knowledge about consensual choking. It’s now a common sexual activity among young adults, with 27% reporting having done it the most recent time they had partnered sex. Drawing on a variety of data sources, we’ll address motivations, risks, and harm reduction educational approaches.
