Reflective of the work of “Inequitable Access, Information & Support: A Social Analysis of America’s Sex Education Programs,” as published in the American Journal of Sexuality Education, this lecture will discuss sex education programs, course content, and the representations they establish for young people. We will examine how federal education policy could be used to reframe sex education in the U.S.
