Starting its journey as a verb and transitioning to a noun, Pink has encountered wars, experienced eliteness, effeminized and revived! The etymology of Pink takes us back to the 1400s. We are going to track its evolution in fashion trends, effeminization, effects on brain development and ethical impacts on scientific research. Participants will explore ways to incorporate this information when teaching about gender.
