Consent education often relies on clear-cut distinctions between ‘yes’ and ‘no,’ but young people’s experiences are shaped by ambiguity, social pressures and evolving norms. This lecture explores how a ‘safe uncertainty’ approach can foster critical engagement with consent, acknowledging complexity while equipping young people with the skills to navigate intimate situations safely and ethically.
